Current RTS Version: 0.9.0.0 (November 11th 2010 version)
| Bug ref no. | Priority | Description |
| 1 | 1 | When Silver was traded the stop computed x
10 of the correct price...
|
| 1a | 1 | The profit for silver was shown as a loss, the actual short trade was around 3k up but showed as -3048 |
| 1b | 1 | This figure was carried over incorrectly to the "account section" |
| 2 | 1 |
Disconnection of launcher. The launcher failed to re-connect once the connection was lost, no warning beep was given to alert the user of this condition.
I Suggest a warning beep in trade sounds folder called "disconnect" this ideally should sound until a button is pressed just in case we are not at the pc when it goes off. and another beep showing when "connected"
|
| 3 | 2 | The connected beep is the same as the stance change beep, when we really need another beep showing when "connected" ( in trade sounds folder ) |
| 2a | 1 | The program was disconnected and failed
to reconnect, local synced time 1203 was many hours different to
server time.0747 After closing the program tried to restart it and, i got the message another instance of RTS is already running. Indicating some hanging during the shut down process. After 2 more attempts it allowed the program to restart. We must have an audible warning for disconnection, Image below shows the error code dump The button on main window said logged in, but had become red, surely this should say disconnected? |

|
| 4 | 2 | The commissions column
is spasmodic, sometimes shows a figure and often shows 0. I had long Tesco which changed to short but commission showed as zero. Also had a 48 pound per point FTSE250 trade over the weekend which showed as commission £2,688 on Monday and is absolutely way out. Maybe it is booking the 20 point spread for each weekend day? But this is wrong. These figures are adversely affecting the profit loss figures in the main column and the account part. It would be easier just to remove the commission part as its a non essential viewing.
|
| 5 | 2 | The
stance change sound I had a stance change at 1421pm and didnt get the sound from it until 300pm Also there were some stance changes where the noise did not occur. The problem is that the displaying of the trades changing and the notification sound is not synchronised. Either there is a lag in the sound getting played or a lag in the main window reporting trades. Will add more details as and when I see this again. |
| 2b | 1 | The program was disconnected
but showed as CONNECTED I saw prices changing at 3pm on 25th november and then no more trades or price changes. The LOGGED IN button stayed green the whole time even though it was not connected. Server time and Synced time were in line. This is very dangerous. I suggest some warning beep that measures the time since the last price of any instrument changed, ( only need to monitor a few busy things like usdgbp or sp500 futures to make this work. ) if no price changes by 2 minutes then sound some blood curdling alarm to wake us up.
|
| 2c | 1 | The program was "logging in" Server time and Synced time were out of line, and the "logging in" button stayed that way, it failed to log in. After closing the program, then reopening it again, many confusing messages appearred RTS is still running, 2 icons showed on the toolbar, clicking on the icon on toolbar and exit led to more confusion. Seems that it does not shut down cleanly and stays running? |
| 6 | 1 | The deadliest error NO STOP
inputted to market after trade. This is very very very dangerous. Stance changed on FTSE250 No sound generated. NO STOP PUT IN TO ORDERS. Error message showed this which looks totally unrelated to the actual problem; Order id = 273234650 , new required price = 4.291800002212523 , new lots quantity = 3800 5 minutes later, still no stance sound, still no stop put in, still nothing showing in trades. I have recorded this bug in video format DOWNLOAD HERE after waiting 30 minutes with nothing happening and a large loss growing, i clicked on close position which it did ok. The trade then appeared in the box.
|
| 7 | 2 | Closing the program (Done after been running ok for several hours) I closed the x in the top right corner of the program, and it closed, the RTS icon remained on the toolbar with 2 green lights, then a message came up, You have closed the RTS ouside the launcher, if you do that the launcher cannot work correctly......... I have never used a program before that cant be closed normally by using the x in the top right. What is the correct method to close the program? Seems a bit confusing to me.

| general theme change |
2 | Suggested layout change to make more familiar and clear ( see full details below) if these are not possible, then for a quicker fix we could just make it look as much like the photo above until such time a new control is devised or added. |
| 1 | 2 | Lighten whole background (on all the form pages) so as to look as much like IG as possible |
| 2 | 1 | Place the pink and blue highlights only on the size column and dont show lines accross as in picture |
| 3 | 2 | Rename size (£pp) to Size |
| 4 | 2 | In the IG window there is no decimal places on the £ pp, unless it is 0.34 or something, and their values are centred, if you can copy that it would help clarity |
| 5 | 2 | Place Entry price column in position 2 to the left of size and rename to Entry |
| 6 | 1 | Place stop price in the upper window to the right of size column as in picture. |
| 7 | 2 | Rename P/L (£) Column to Profit/ Loss |
| 8 | 2 | The market column should show the names in lower case only with capital at the start.2 |
| 9 | 2 | Add £ signs to the column values as in the IG photo |
| 10 | 2 | Shade alternate rows to match photo ( to help the viewers eyes stay on the correct line) |
| 11 | 2 | Place cost column to the right of Profit loss |
| 12 | 2 | Alignments of the columns. Market (left) all other columns can be (central) |
| 13 | 2 | In our "account" section on the main page, the minus signs appear before the £ signs, where as in the IG pages it shows £ -223.2 which looks a bit clearer and more familiar. if you could match that too it would be good. |
| 14 | 2 | The lower "open orders" box can be changed to the same colour and font format as in the photo |
| 15 | 2 | Main tab...The "system" window in the open orders window needs the font to be aligned to the left. |
| 16 | 2 | Need + and - signs on the display for "Amount" and please rename it to "Size" |
| 17 | 2 | Add capital letters to the buy and sell comments in the "Operation" Column |
| 18 | 3 | The little green icons next to they symbol
could be employed as well and changed to blue when that market is closed. (luxury item only, but nice to have) |
| 19 | 2 | If all these features have show hide boxes and are the columns are moveable to suit the user, then all of us can make the layout we prefer without the need for making "different versions" this includes the displayed values in "account" on the main tab. As more values are added over time, we will all have a preference to see the values we like. |
| 20 | 2 | Add capital letters to the Order type "stop" change to Stop |
| 21 | 1 |
I Suggest a warning beep in trade sounds folder called "disconnect" this ideally should sound until a button is pressed just in case we are not at the pc when it goes off. This provides an alarm to the user showing some action is needed.
|
| 22 | 2 | The stance changed file has a rather long file name, which would be better named to "stance change" this way each user can easily add his own preferred sounds for stance, connection and disconnection. |
| 23 | 2 | The instruments tab,
when clicking on the "edit instrument" the box appear with the details. The small white box has some letters next to it which looks like equity but shows as *quity due to some sizing error. I am not sure what the risk per trade model information is meaning when it says £1 per point/pip 1,000 equity? We can go over that when we meet up.
